Photo Ethics- Photo manipulation

Photo manipulation is basically where you cut different parts of a photograph and paste them all together to make it look different.

Semiotics: is the study of signs and images
Signifier- The word itself
Signified- The image and meaning which you get from it
Denotation: The basic literal meaning taken from something what you see.
Connotation: A personal meaning you get from seeing something, what you assosiate with the image.

Photo Journalism

Photo journalism is about using photography to tell a story and show the reality of an event. It is about being able to capture the photo at the right moment and being able to capture a photograph that shows an accurate record of events. Henri Cartier Bresson was a french photographer and became the face of photo journalism.
